Pokemon Crystal Legacy is the Completed GBC ROM Hack, which was lastly updated on 30th August, 2024. It is a special version of Pokémon Crystal. It keeps the original Gen 2 style but makes many parts of the game better and more fun.
Features:
Battle the game creators in Trainer House.
Level Scaling: Chuck, Pryce, and Jasmine change their levels and teams depending on how many badges you have (5, 6, or 7).
Better Gym Battles: Gym Leaders use stronger Pokémon with better moves and hold items. They use more Gen 2 Pokémon but keep their main ones (like Bugsy still has Scyther).
Improved Level Curve: Trainers and leaders give more EXP. Levels grow slowly and fairly. You may be underleveled at the end, but that’s normal.
More Pokémon: Many rare Pokémon are now found in Johto (like Houndour). Trade evolutions now happen by level or items. Fossils and GS Ball are in Ruins of Alph.
Battle Fixes: Ghost is now Special, Dark is Physical. Weak Pokémon and bad moves are now better and stronger (especially Bug and Fighting types).
Better Items: Shops sell more useful items like berries, stones, TMs. You cannot buy X items.
Story Updates: Team Rocket bosses have names (Archer, Ariana). Some small story changes to make things clearer. Missing legendaries are explained.
Quality of Life: Running Shoes, early EXP Share, better bag, delete HMs, move names shown, happiness easier, fixed bugs, PC added in more places, and more!
Post-Game:
Rematch Johto Gym Leaders.
Kanto is its own challenge. All Gym Leaders have strong teams. You become Kanto Champion after beating their Elite Four.
Final boss is Red.
